Jeremy's career change from Analyst to Software Development
Jeremy turned a redundancy as an analyst into a whole new career in software development.
Jeremy studied with us and graduated in 2024 after taking redundancy from his analyst role at a software development company. While working there he often looked over at the Developer Team with a tinge of jealously as they looked like they were having a great time problem solving.
So, Jeremy made the most of his redundancy and researched where to study coding. His criteria were that it needed to be practical and quick, he didn't want to spend a long time retraining. He took the advice of his developer friends working at Xero, who said that if you're going to study coding, it should be at Dev Academy.
